The RFH – Hadley Wood Hospital

The work comprised of refurbing the lower ground floor, with the addition of a new lift and external shaft at Hadley Wood Hospital, Barnet.

The newly refurbished lower ground consisted of a new CT, MRI and X-ray scanning suits. Also associated with the suits was an accompanying control room, cannulation bay and separate changing rooms for each scanning room. An added new reception and waiting area was also added.

We provided a strip back of existing ventilation systems (e.g. supply, clean extract and dirty extract) water services pipework on the ground and lower ground floor.
We also added additional systems for ventilation, water services pipework, medical gases pipework and chilled water.

The works where carried out in a single construction period, but in a multi-phased manner. Generally, the works where carried out within normal working hours, however, there was an element of out of hours work required to the corridor which successfully completed whilst minimising disruption.
